Blue Ridge Business Association

Discover the matchless beauty, warm hospitality and rich heritage of our
friendly mountain community. In 1886, the Marietta and Northern Railroad
came to Fannin County, and in 1887, the town of Blue Ridge, Georgia was
born.  As a result of the railroad, the town flourished.  The golden
age of railroads is long past, but thanks to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, you
and your children can still ride the same spectacular route beside the Toccoa
River where stream engines rumbled over a hundred years ago.
